Turn & Burn Pottery

David and Deborah Garner just a couple of hundred yards from "the" stoplight in Seagrove, and a block away from the historic "Plank Road", David and Deborah Garner ply their trade, just like David's forefathers did almost 300 years ago. David's involvement with clay and pottery began at such an early age, he can't quite remember when he first saw a pot being turned on a potter's wheel.

Whenever we are in Seagrove we always stop and see David. He doesn't remember us but he always makes you feel comfortable and at home. His familiar white big mustache is a welcome sight. They work right behind the counter and are always glad to chat. They fire their pieces with a wood fire which affects the glazes in unusual and beautiful ways.
